Distance Learning Piano Lessons

How distance jazz piano lessons work.

Jazz pianist / teacher Mark Miller calls the student at the pre-designated lesson time. All phone charges are paid by the instructor. The student picks up his/her cordless phone, plugs in their headset and walks on over to the piano or electronic keyboard to begin the lesson.

Mr. Miller, having emailed the student the appropriate chord drills, theory worksheets and songs prior to the lesson, goes over the lesson plan with each student to ensure proper practice techniques.

With over 2000 songs arranged for beginners to advanced professionals, our library contains your favorite song at your level of expertise. Through our concept-based teaching method, you will be playing tunes in days, and learning the essential theory needed to be CREATIVE at the keyboard.

Students have a choice of weekly lessons, either 60 or 45 minutes in length at a rate of $75 an hour , or an hour lesson every other week at $100 an hour. Payment is due the first week of the month for the upcoming month. Monthly tuition can be paid by check of Visa/MC. Tuition includes 24/7 emailing of questions. Questions will be answered by email within 24 hours.

Each student has unique strengths and weaknesses. Mr. Miller prides himself on being able to teach each student using the means best suited for that particular student. This may mean sending MP3 audio files of how to practice certain chord drills or a MPEG 2 video file showing the actual performance and finger position of a particular song!
